Grant Timbers is an accredited flooring manufacturer. The governing body overseeing this accreditation is an independent company (TRADAC) Timber Research and Development Advisory Council, which have taken this on board to try and eliminate the problems caused by inexperience, short cutting, and lack of knowledge due to not understanding the problems arising from misuse of these products.
TRADAC do an audit three times a year to check all records and do random checks on packs that are ready for sale.
The issuing of Moisture Certificates is standard practice for all dry product produced by us.
Sophisticated computer recording enables us to track finished packs right back to when the timber was first sawn in the Green Mill.
