Storage Racks

Excess production from the Green mill finds it way into the racking system. The main storage shed has over 1000 pigeon holes to store product by end section and length increment. An electric, wide carriage trolley travels the full length of the building allowing stock to be worked from both sides. All holes are numbered for computerized stocktaking. The rack system is also home to a wide range of "imported" products like Ply, Laminated Beams, Pine, Western Red Cedar, Radiata Fascia, Mouldings and so on.
